Airotel Galaxy - Kavala

More fun than I expected!

This hotel boasts a prime location, with access to the city's key attractions without needing a car. The rooftop breakfast experience, with fine harbor views, was nice, and the staff were genuinely helpful. We appreciated the thoughtful touches, especially for our young child!

On the web it is stated that the hotel doesn't offer parking. I was lucky it is wrong, because the hotel has a parking, and the parking is free of charge. It is overcrowded but they have a person handling everything, making space, moving vehicles and so on. Maybe they should start charging some extra for parking space to relax it a little. I had a problem with my kid getting sick at 2 am one night. The person at the reception called the manager and the manager offered to come to the hotel from home and take us to a hospital, which was really nice. Regarding the hotel, it is new, clean, perfect roof top restaurant with perfect view. If you book, take a sea view room - it is really nice.

Maybe the noise of the cars morning also the pilows are verry high for me.

The breakfast served on the rooftop was good, with a variety of fresh baked goods and local Greek pastries. The staff were cute and the room boasted excellent cleanliness with a lovely sea view.

Parking can be challenging.

It took a very long time to check out and it was a bit pricey for a double room with an addition of a truckle bed.

Everything was perfect!Very clean and design room and nice breakfast at the roof garden which has amazing view!

easy access to parks and historic landmarks

i had a great stay with easy access to parks and the waterfront, and the reputation of the hotel for cleanliness and great breakfast variety made my mornings even better during my time there.

We have good memory from our stay in the hotel. The staff is very professional and helpful. The hotel is very central, in front of the port, 10 mn walk to the old town, shops, restaurants just down the streets. The roof-garden restaurant has great view over Kavala. Our room was very clean, new, modern. Good air-conditioning system.

Our room was on the 5th floor, we could hear some noise (from pulling chairs, table??) early in the morning, which woke us up. Overall, it's a new, clean and very well located hotel. We would come back to this hotel.

The parking was completely full, but there is a large and relatively cheap open parking (operated by the city of Kavala I believe) about 400 meters away. We paid 5€ for 24 hours.
